These solutions can be implemented by using Posera's Maitre'D software, Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System software, other restaurant and retail software platforms or using stand alone terminals.

At the same time, controlling the sale and redemption of these cards is one of the most difficult and time consuming tasks that retailers face. The use of the internet to both sell and redeem gift certificates removes these barriers. Sales can now be made by anyone who has access to a credit card terminal or point of sale terminal. Gift certificate cards can be placed in prominent display areas and not locked away because the certificate card cannot be activated without a sale having taken place. This method of promotion has proven very effective in increasing the sale of gift certificates.

Redemption of the cards is also tracked on the internet. Up to the minute tracking of all cards is available for the unused balance of all cards this instant.
